I'm wondering if we'd be better off creating a custom record. They don't want to see the Item tab, they don't want to use customer. I can't really even do either of those things.

Isn't an opportunity for a vendor just a purchase request?

Well, changing it to vendor was just added today. At first it was Partner, which is what we call our customers. Then I was asked to change Partner to Vendor.

I thought we'd be okay since all of our vendors so far have also had Customer records, but some of the new ones don't.

So your Customer was a Partner is a Vendor

No. I was asked to change the label for Company to Partner (which is what we call our customers). Then I was asked to change it to Vendor, but until very recently, all of our Vendor records had related Customer records, so what they want won't work unless we make Customers for all the new Vendors. It's clear as mud. :slightly_smiling_face:

My users seem to think NetSuite should literally do anything you want without limitation or fuss.
