hi all. having a major issue here. we had a custom transaction body field on our quotes and sales orders, that was sourcing from an entity field on the customer record. we changed the Type from "Free Form Text" to "Long Text" setting a width and height, but then changed back to "Free Form Text". Through this process, it appears we've lost all of our data that was stored in this field (on both the customer record and historical transactions that included this field). We can't seem to find a way to retrieve this field data (affecting hundreds of customer records and thousands of transactions records!!). does anyone know a way around this? thanks in advance for any help on this one !

Ouch. Happen to have a Sandbox or a release preview account which might give you some of the historical data back? How about System Notes?

Even system notes go poof. The sandbox or release preview wouldn't be a bad thing to check for some of the data, but I would expect either to be drastically out of date

Thanks both. Fortunately we had a spreadsheet downloaded just a few days prior that captured the field data... so was able to get most of it back with an Import. Phew!
