Has anyone ever created a Saved Search that can identify changes to field names or custom record names?

It seems incredibly painful to add the myriad of `Name` fields and also have to keep the list up to date

there’s no context, so it basically does nothing

Depending on how many custom fields/records you have, you can view the changes on the Custom Record/Field itself under the history subtab

Understood. I am looking for sending out a digest of changes to an email list

Did you try a System Note Saved Search?

Criteria (Date, Record Type)

Results ( Date, Record, Set By, Type, Field, Old Value, New Value, Context)

Filters (Record Type, Context, Set By, Type, Date ) Show in Filter Region for all.
