Hi all- I’m trying to do a saved search for Chart of Accounts. We have a lot of subsidiaries so when I add subsidiary field I get multiple lines for one account for each instance of subsidiary. Tried grouping in saved search but no luck. How else can I achieve this ? It needs to be saved search not Analytics

I guess my question is, what do you expect the results to show when you add subsidiary to the resultset? When a GL account has multiple subsidiaries (or Include Children is checked), what would you expect the balance to be per subsidiary as this would by design result in more than 1 row? What would you group by if you grouped? (Grouping by sub defeats the object of having subsidiary in the results). Think I just need to understand what you're trying to show

Ok thanks. So we have some accounts that are top parent incl children - in that case I don’t want line to be repeated for every option. However we have cases eg banks where account is only for one sub so in such a case I would like to see the named sub.
