Where can you see the demand or daily demand number used to calculate reorder points/preferred stock levels? I am dividing the number of sales in 6 months by 180 and based on the formulas for reorder points and preferred stock levels, I am not getting the same numbers.

Unfortunately, you cannot see the Demand per Day number. I had to build a moderately complex saved search to be able to calculate the demand per day per month for us to validate the numbers. Also, double-check the preference on which transactions are being considered.

That is unfortunate. The preference is set to only Orders. Does NetSuite by chance round everything up? Example 3.01 -> 4?

Yes, NetSuite rounds up, and depending on your configuration for assembly type items where you round qty as component you will end up rounding all decimal values up
