Yes, this is my basis as well. I was actually looking for a confirmation from somebody else. Based on my understanding, it is possible but I am not 100% sure.

Yes, definitely possible. We used eWAY RAPID (Australian gateway) at my previous company and it worked pretty well.

You will need a third party gateway to handle the actual credit card processing. They will charge a gateway fee, but there is no additional charges from NetSuite. eWAY is the particular gateway we used. It's native functionality in NetSuite, no SuiteApp required
