Fellow NS Pros: I host a "power user" meeting for my customer and I wanted to do a 'best tips' session for our next meeting. Would you like to share your favorite little shortcuts or tips?

1. Global Search Prefixes/Tricks - this site does a pretty good job of explaining https://www.fmtconsultants.com/netsuite-global-search-tips/ 2. Browser keyboard shortcuts - Ive felt like many users don't have a good grasp of browser keyboard shortcuts that could save them a lot of time

Things like holding CTRL when clicking a link will open it in a new tab, or SHIFT+CTRL+Click will open in a new tab and focus the new tab CTRL+1 will focus the first tab you have open, CTRL+2 will focus the second... etc. CTRL+F to find a word/phrase on a page - insanely underused by most my users 100 other shortcuts for Chrome --- https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/157179?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Adding to the chrome part, There are three flags which I found useful, Go to chrome://flags Enable these three flags. The above two lets you see the content inside a tab just by hovering over tab, and third lets you share url to your phone using qr code. I request people to add more.

typing help: desired keyword and pressing enter in the global search lets you navigate directly to help center with the results on keywords
Also some shortcuts that netsuite provided in help center. https://system.netsuite.com/app/help/helpcenter.nl?fid=section_n474926.html

I discovered a cool one they other day. If you’re viewing a search and inline editing is turned on, if you click on a field value in one of the columns and Shift + click down the column, you can bulk edit all the values of that field for the items selected. You can also use it to bulk delete records if you select your column and then hover over the little green “settings” guy in the “New” column on the left and select “Delete Record” It’s also worth knowing that to enable inline editing, you have to specify “Type” in your search criteria.

@Cara Foley Here is a whole powerpoint on Tips and Tricks. All Suiteworld powerpoints are posted in SuiteAnswers, so I don' think this is breaking any rules 😉 https://static.rainfocus.com/oracle/sw19/sess/15466408796240011nTZ/PDFPF%20/FIN1533SES_TUES_1553184009082001fTW1.pdf

And here is one for "advanced users"...Some of it is duplicated in the prior link....https://static.rainfocus.com/oracle/sw19/sess/15466412055500011x8Y/PDFPF%20/FIN1534SES_WED_1553184207907001BHsc.pdf
Hope that helps.
