Does anyone know how to set up this custom segment called "Business Unit" to be available at the expense line? This is a screenshot from entering a requisition. Ideally would like it next to the Department and Class fields. We tried customizing the form and moving elements between subtabs, however, the expense sublist isn't showing up when customizing.

looks like it is created for transaction body, you need transaction column field

We don't want it setup as a custom field, rather a custom segment to allow slicing and dicing of the PnL. We basically want it to mimic the way the department field works

Go to your custom segment under customization -> List record fields -> custom segments and update it there

When I'm manipulating items on the "Expenses" sublist customisation, it's on Screen Fields - Expenses

You'd think, right?! For some reason it's not showing up when customizing the form of a requisition. On POs, however, it's acting as expected - it shows up

Try making a new one set up that one from the start.

That worked. Not sure exactly what was wrong with our custom form, but creating a new one from the standard NetSuite one work 😅
Followup question now is - from the REQ, the selection at the line level should flow through to the PO and ultimately the bill, correct?

It should flow onto following transactions as long as it is applied and displayed properly, yes
