Very simple, check  a date on an opportunity, if the date minus today = 4 days, then create a task

my experience in netsuite is small, but in other systems its better. Netsuite is just very overwhelming at first lol

and it only gets better.  haha.

It can get interesting at points but it is very functional

ive done some suitescript 2.0 stuff but never the workflow pieces

but the suitescript part makes a lot of sense to me

it might make more sense to accomplish this with a script.

interesting. do you know how the workflows send data to the script?

I actually think you can create the task from the Opportunity with the workflow

use the condition field to define the point when the task needs to be created.

would I need more fields in order for this to save properly?

maybe a message, not sure exactly how you are running opportunities.

I am running the opp based on if 2 checkboxes are checked on the opp

I removed the date restriction to test if task is being made
