is there any possible way besides a scripting solution to have a report that shows items and the bins where BINS show up by column and now rows
j
@Ogabeg Have you tried creating a saved search with item Name, Bin, and Bin Available and then pivoting the results? I'm guessing you must have very few number of total bins.
o
hmm how did you pivot it, are you suing the analytics workbook

@Ogabeg nope, not in the analytics workbook. There's a button at the top of saved searches (in edit mode) labeled "Pivot Report"
Oh, I just realized that this functionality is coming from a Netsuite bundle that we have installed called "Pivot Reports BETA", Bundle ID 17447

Hi @Justin B. This is interesting. Have you encountered any issues so far 'cause this is just a 'beta'?
j
@Luis I don't use it frequently/consistently enough to say for sure, but no issues in the work that I've done with it
l
Noted! Thanks!

@Justin B is the picture from a saved search or a report?
j
@Ogabeg the screenshot is a report. The report started it's life as a saved search. After clicking the "Pivot Report" button that I mentioned, it generates a report.
It just uses a report to display the data being queried by the saved search, essentially. So when you are looking at the pivot report and click "edit" it sends you back into the saved search to modify the data.

i just dont see a pivot report option
j
Did you see this message?

@Justin B - how did you get it to show by column. Mines just adds another row
j
@Ogabeg here's the pivot setup
@Ogabeg did you get that to work for what you need?
o
