I figured this would be straight forward, but I’m looking to get a list of all roles with a count of users assigned to the role. (trying to create some saved searches that would help cleanup old roles and things like that). Any advice? (When I create the search based on roles, then add user fields - name, it lists my account name as opposed to the names attached to role.

Do an employee search. Group on Role and count on Employee

Thanks @Rebecca, two issues I had with this route. 1. It doesn’t show roles with 0 attached accounts (which is one of the biggest things I’m looking for). 2. It doesn’t take into account all user accounts, so I’d need to run another one for vendor/partner, etc.. I think. Entity didn’t seem to have roles, so I gave up on that. Any ideas?

the closest you are going to be able to get in a single saved search is to do the role search and then use the Login Audit Trail Fields…. And select user, then group on role and count Login Audit Trail : User. It does not show you the assigned, but how many users have logged into each role.

For the roles with no users assigned, you could take a look at suiteanswers#65136?
