hey everyone i have a question when i sync the FBA from Amazon to NS using integration it creating an invoice in NS will that allocate the items will it reduce the inventory or not?
p
Yes, a Stand alone invoice with no sales order will reduce inventory. That is how Celigo with Amazon FBA works.
l
Thank you so much @Pete Kastner
@Pete Kastner Yes now the issue is under G/L impact i don't see the inventory account only A/R account
a
@linavokolans depends what items are on your invoice. IF there are inventory items, then it would deduct inventory. If your invoice doesn't include inventory items...then it won't.
l
it have inventory items
@AK47
a
Share your invoice and the GL impact? As @Pete Kastner said, if it's a stand alone invoice with no sales order that has inventory items, then your GL impact will hit the inventory asset account.
l
@AK47 i only sync Invoice becasue we only sync FBA Orders, no Sales Order and items are inventory items Thank you
a
On the invoice, what does it say in created from? This appears to be an invoice from a sales order.
l
@AK47 nothing it a standalone invoice (FBA)
a
ah....ok, what is the valuation of the items sold? I assume its $0. If there are inventory items with value sold on a standalone invoice, it will absolutely hit the inventory asset account. But if the value of the item in that location on that date is nothing, then nothin happens
l
Ahhh okay how can i check that valuation of the items sold
@AK47 Thanks in advance
@AK47 Item A: • Quantity: 1 • Average Cost: 1.00 • Valuation: 1 (Quantity) * 1.00 (Average Cost) = $1.00 Item B: • Quantity: 1 • Average Cost: 0.00 • Valuation: 1 (Quantity) * 0.00 (Average Cost) = $0.00 Total valuation for the items sold in the invoice: $1.00 (Item A) + $0.00 (Item B) = $1.00

I prefer to have the sales orders come into NetSuite Then these can be automatically fulfilled with a workflow or script Then invoices can be created via billing operations I don’t like just to being in standalone invoice
l
@Ricky Yeah but becasue it an automation FBA from Amazon it generate invoice instead of SO
r
Which connector are you using to do this?
l
Celigo @Ricky
r
Celigo can post sales orders instead of invoices I have done this with another client It’s just a config change
l
Ahhhh i see Thank you so much @Ricky
