I'm trying to create an intercompany allocation schedule for shared rent of two subsidiaries to be allocated across departments of both subsidiaries using one 'AR' and one 'AP' account (may be of AR, AP, other current asset/liability account types). Is this possible? One SA says Intercompany Clearing Account is the only account I can use.
