For advanced revenue management, we have it automatically running and updating revenue arrangements and plans every 30 minutes. However we saw a few of our orders last month where the plans never got updated so they weren't picked up for recognition. We've never had this happen before- has anyone experienced this? We had to run them manually but we can't do that all the time since we have 1000s of orders.

One of my clients has the same issue at the moment and I believe NetSuite raised a defect. I've managed to automate it for now (they have 1000's of arrangements too). Have you checked the status page? ... 'Update Revenue Arrangements Status' ... can you share a screen grab of the results you are seeing? (there is nothing sensitive on the status page)

@dynamicl I'll emailed Ask a Guru and they told me to turn the automatic runs off and on, hoping it would reset it. Here is a shot of our status page- just ran at noon cat. How come the Start Revenue Arrangement and Start Revenue Plan Management is at 0%?

Hi, revenue arrangements update every 3 hours when set to automatic as I understand. You mentioned 30 mins in your original post, is there something else you are updating every 30 mins? If it's the same issue as my client is having, I believe what's happening is that the run is not being completed in the 3 hour time frame. So instead of it continuing past 3 hours, it just starts the process again. In effect the system just updates the same arrangements over and over again @ 12pm, 3pm, 6pm etc...

@dynamicl That makes sense then. Did you say this was a defect with netsuite already? If so, I'll submit a case to get it logged. Also, it's every 3 hours- I misspoke in the original post.

I believe they have recognised it as a defect but it's still not fixed after several months, hence why we had to put a temp workaround in place. I'd definitely raise a case with them because this sounds like the exact same issue.
