You can't order an item group or kit...

This is what i'm trying to tell my accounting manager, sorry, but could you elaborate? I'm very unfamiliar with this side of the business

If you try to place a purchase order transaction item groups and kit's don't show up

it's a sales order, we're able to select item groups

You'd need to use an assembly item to purchase it - and then do an assembly unbuild - but the GL impact of the unbuild would be all wrong (from my testing)

so our issue is that we're selling a "pack" of 2 items

which you can't do if you can't create a Purchase Order....

wouldn't it be cleaner to just add em as the 2 individual items?
