I've been searching SuiteAnswers for a little bit, but haven't found a good answer yet. I have a few Sales Roles for my employees and wondered what the Best Practice was for entering new potential customers that they meet. There are Leads, Opportunities, Prospects. I plan on sending an email out to the Sales Manager when a Salesman creates a new potential customer, but I can't find anything that differentiates the 3. Any ideas?
