Anyone know what performance in NS would be like with 400 line item sales orders? A client of mine is looking for a new system, and their average is about 100 lines, but it goes up to 400 lines due to EDI orders from retailers. Basics like opening the order to view it, and processing an item fulfillment.

I know of one company that has 10k lines in a sales order. I have not personally monitored performance metrics but it apparently works for them.

I've seen up to about 200 lines on transactions, but they are more often outliers. If the script load is light on the record I think it should be fine, but I would imagine any script that would look at the line level (user event or client script) could make life a bit more difficult for the users operating on the records in the UI.

@Eric B interesting - do you know if it's possible to have 10K lines on an invoice transaction?
