New to NetSuite here but have worked with, implemented, and administrated other ERPs. Struggling a bit with roles - is there a way to provide access to certain pages (like Inventory Items or purchase orders) but restrict access to specific fields (such as cost)? I suspect there’s a way to do it but I’m used to it being encompassed as part of roles and permissions so am struggling to find a way to do it based on what I’ve researched and tested in NetSuite so far.

You can also create a workflow that will restrict access to any particular field/s on a record based on role or user.
