Anyone having troubles with Chrome throwing an error upon label print with item fulfillment? Seems to have cropped up with v. 84. Says "epl2 may be dangerous" and blocks it. Works fine in Edge.

We noticed this starting today with a custom label printing integration that uses .prn files - the latest Chrome update seems to have gotten more aggressive about 'dangerous' downloads.

Thanks! Good to know we aren't the only ones, but bad because this stinks.
m
The best workaround that we've found is to go to the Chrome downloads page (ctrl-j) and click 'Keep dangerous file' for each label, but that's not really a long-term solution. If you find another solution that doesn't involve turning off all security scanning on Chrome, please share it - our warehouse can't keep manually allowing each file for too long without losing a fair amount of productivity.

I will let you know. For now, they are using MS Edge.
I logged a case with NS Support. Not sure if they have contact with Chrome developers, but I am assuming so. Not sure what else to do right now.
m
Yeah, I guess I could suggest another browser too but we've got other processes relying on Chrome plugins and whatnot so that's a sidestep at best for us.

Hopefully, this will be remedied soon.

If you want, I would file a ticket with Support. I just got off the phone with them and this is a known defect.
Always good to bolster those numbers.

Oh good to know, thanks for sharing - I'll put a case in now. Did they give you a defect number that I can reference?
j
Not yet. Give me a few and I'll grab the number.

Great, thanks! I'll make sure to report that in my Case.
