Our sales team is complaining because NetSuite has started imposing no negative totals for Opportunities. They currently do "bookings adjustments" to make the bookings closer to the actuals, sometimes creating a negative booking to offset another booking (opportunity) where actuals (invoicing) is less than the total for that booking. I don't understand why you would do this, or why you would want your bookings to match actuals so closely but that's what the sales team wants to do. Does anyone have advice on best practices concerning creating new opportunities? Something tells me this isn't it.
