Hello all. Pair of questions today. 1. We'd like to better highlight the delivery method on our pick tickets. Is there a way we can have different delivery methods print in different colors? Example: the ticket prints in blue if its USPS, red if it's fedex overnight/2day, that sort of thing. 2. At the moment we manually print our pick tickets to give to our warehouse staff. This is fast approaching a cumbersome point. What do we need to set-up so that when we receive new orders they automatically print out, specifically for online retail? Thanks for any and all help!

1> Script but I don’t know much about that side so let’s wait on other comments. You will probably have to send the commands depending on who the carrier is to a different printer. This is potentially going to be a pain to setup. 2> Do you guys have pick ticket scanners? Any kind of WMS/Basic solution like RFSmart?

1. We use a similar process (highlight certain line items as needed). I would recommend looking into Advanced PDF/HTML templates and use a custom picking ticket to change the highlight color. It shouldn't be too hard; you can just change the CSS based on the criteria of your choice. 2. We print our picking tickets in batches (Print Picking Tickets), which makes it easy to do. Are you using this page, or are you printing them individually?

@Alex Cook @leo 1. Thanks for the suggestion Alex, I'll forward that idea to my boss. 2. We do have pick ticket scanners, exactly RF-Smart. We also do print our pick tickets in batches, but we're hitting a volume that that can still take up a bunch of time that I'd rather just have them automatically print out for the staff to collect.

@Robert Forbes - so if I am hearing this correctly, the pick ticket volume is high. Are you saying that RFSmart is unable to cope with the volume of pick tickets on the scanner that you are using?
r
@leo Pick ticket volume is high. We're manually PRINTING them out and organizing them (wholesale/D2C/alternative shipping methods). We'd like to at least be able to print our D2C tickets with standard shipping automatically at a station that staff can just collect.

@Robert Forbes - gotcha! I didn’t know about the organization step.
