Pricing for Groups is the sum of the Group components, you don't set it at the group level. Kits are somewhat similar and you do set pricing at the 'parent' level there. I'd do some research into Item Groups versus Kits and see which works best for your workflows. Note if you have ARM (rev rec), you need to be especially careful in choosing which to use as there are some significant differences in how they run through ARM.
