Edit the list itself and add the user there

I didn’t find any option to add an user on the custom list definition, could you tell me where do yo do this?

You could convert the list to a custom record

and then you get the more complete permissions control over it

*note* scripts `might` need to be modified/tested before doing this

if they touch fields that utilize that record
