Hi, I’m going to modify my Subsidiary Hierarchy. I activated SMH and did all my tests in Sandbox. Now it’s time to move in production. My question: is there a way to block access to NetSuite to all my users for a couple of hours? This to avoid them book some transaction during I work on Subsidiary Hierarchy. Thank you

Normally, the employee records are inactivated but you may want to check first the implications particularly on scheduled scripts and reports of those employees (if that applies to your users). I think there's a SA for that.

Hi Luis, thank you for your reply. I searched on SA but I didn’t find doc saying that “employee records are inactivated”

Try "inactivating employee records" and other related SAs.

I setup an Mass update to 1. Set a "Was Active" Check box on each active employee record and 2. Check Inactive. I have a 2nd Mass Update to uncheck both boxes with both are checked.
Becare with this approach not to inactivate ALL users (leave your Admins active) if you inactive all I am not sure what will happen.

@Sean Murphy Thank you, I was thinking to do something like this. You make my day. I’ll test it
