Is there a way to have the view link open a new tab instead of loading in the same window?

Just right click and select open in a new tab. Or, if you're on a non-mac, hold the ctrl key down when you click the link (this is browser based, not just in NetSuite). On a Mac, you hold down the command key.

Or press down on the scroll wheel on your mouse if you have one. It's a little hard to get used to, but is quicker once you get in the habit.

Problem is some of these users are not too.....savy and wont remember to right click and select open in new tab. Was hoping for a way to customize the link.

They can also hold down the CTRL key. The only thing in NS that you can customize to open in a new tab, vs in the window, are dashboard searches and that has to be set up by whoever adds the search to the dashboard.
