does anyone know how I can add ADMI_ACCOUNTING and LIST_ACCOUNT to a role? I don't see it anywhere. I'm trying to give our new bookeeper/accountant access to the chart of accounts, but I've run into a wall getting it to show up without making the person a full administrator. I found the aforementioned permissions listing in the help file.

It looks like those are internal ids for the
Setup > Accounting
Management and
Lists > Accounts
permissions

Have you already tried to usual opening the direct URL to the page in role and see if the error message mentions the permission trick?

@michoel I have the lists>accounts one, but I don't see Setup>accounting. Under setup I see "Accounting Lists", "Accounting management", and "Accounting Preferences". I've added all 3, but still no dice. I will try the URL thingy when I get a minute and let you know

@michoel@KevinJ of Kansas So, apparently the URL works with their Role, it just doesn't show up in the same menu where it does for other Admins. I don't know where it's "moved" to, but at least I can have her just bookmark the thing I guess.

I'm guessing you aren't using classic center for this admin
