Wanted to ask about bin on hand v location on hand. It is weird that I'm seeing an item having location on hand=1, but bin on hand =7. The inventory valuation detail showing every single transaction has bin specified, and the correct on hand should be 1. not sure where that 7 could come from. I searched suiteanswers it said could be putaway then go back & edit item receipt, but there has no bin putaway happened under this item. Frustrated...

Yeah, tracking those down is fun.
Change your view on the bin on hand search to show "not equal to zero" as opposed to greater than zero
Odds are there was a deleted/modified inventory or bin transfer.

@KevinJ of Kansas You are always fast! I just tried your solution but the bin on hand was still showing 7...😐

And no secondary negative entry?
Have you tried turning bins on and off for the item record?
(do this in sandbox first if you can)

Not sure what is secondary negative entry but even if I remove that "on hand" from criteria it still showing 7.... I will def try turn it off then on, it's just frustrating why it would cause that so ppl can be aware and prevent doing those down to road causing mismatch anymore...

Well what happens from my experience is that someone has a transaction that changes the inventory value/bin assignment, then later goes and deletes it, or updates it after transactions have occured subsequent to it
now, normally, when that happens, it's a positive and a negative on the bin on hand page
Maybe someone did a bin putaway, and then deleted it?
