Has anyone ever seen huge currency revaluations appearing on invoices, much larger than the actual value of the invoice itself, both positive and negative? We’ve just hit a new problem with them appearing when payments have been allocated to some transactions, and have not seen this problem before. I have one example where the revaluation is 20x the value of the invoice!

Huge it can happen, if you have a major exchange rate fluctuation but 20x it’s too much. Are you sure that this revaluation impacts only on the individual invoice and not on the account level?

This is USD/GBP/AUD/EURO. I'd be very worried if there was a 2000% movement. i'm just looking at the G/L impact now. The biggie is working out why it's happened so we can undo it, as the Rounding gain/loss account is well out

Did you check your Currency Exchange Rate? Last Year NetSuite sent me an email informing that all the transactions booked in a particular day should be affected by error on the exchange rate due to an issue with my Rate Provider.

We have ODBC access - I've queried

CURRENCYRATES

and checked that there aren't any huge mistakes. There's certainly nothing that would account for a revaluation that's 20 times the value of the transaction itself
