anyone ever tried to make a workflow with Phone Calls? I can't find a relevant record type on the workflow list. Figured it would be an event or event time.

I don't see phone call either. I checked to see if maybe there was 'Activity' so you could find a subtype of phone call but there wasn't 'Activity' or even 'CRM'.
Might be able to hit that record type with a suitescript.

Phone call is type of Activity. I think you have to write your workflow for Activity and check the type field.
