04/23/2020, 5:51 PMNot an exact resolution, but someone posted yesterday removing the 'SuiteApp Marketplace' permission from the role will remove the tab

04/23/2020, 5:58 PMDepending on how the SuiteApp is built (i.e. locked or not)...you can go to...Customization > Centers and Tabs > Center Tabs...then if that tab appears, edit and set the audience for whom it should appear.
