Good Morning, I have just set up a brand new implementation of Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Google Ads on a 2022.2 SCA site. For some reason We are loosing the Referrer from the cart forward. When debugging with google tag assistant, The referrer on first page load is "https://tagassistant.google.com/" and the referrer stays correct through the shopping experience, Until I am in the cart and click on checkout. Now the referrer shows "mysite/cart" for the rest of the checkout session. I am also verifying this in GA4 when I look at the referrals report, All conversions are self referrals. Any Advice? Thanks in advance!
What is interesting is that when using tag assistant, if I look at the data for google ads, the referrer is correct on the login page when leaving the cart, but GA4 is not. The default tags set up by the GTM suiteapp show GA4 referrer is set as HTTP referrer, But very little is shown in tag manager for google ads and I do not see where a variable is used, I assume it is stored in a cookie.

Can you check the GTM configuration and make sure that the containers have the Send ecommerce data checkbox selected and that you’re using the data layer

Let me try to find those settings
Okay, looks like this checkbox is on every Suitecommerce - GA4 - tag and none of them are checked LOL
I have checked the box on The purchase, Cart, pageview etc and published, I will probably have to wait 24 hours to see if it made a difference, Thanks for pointing this out @Steve Goldberg!!!

Yea, This is still not working, Any time the website switches to /scs/checkout.ssp the referrer gets changed to whatever the last page was 😞
