Hi all, has anyone tried to use customer email address as the customer ID - if so, please give me some pros and cons feedback. Thanks

i haven't done that in any implementation but i tried in an account and it can be done thru allowing override on customer ID. one of the cons is there may be possibility of duplication. They just need to be careful on setting unique email address per customer because its gonna be used as the Customer ID
