On the Create Record workflow action use the field STORE RESULT IN. This is a custom field that will be on your Item record which will link you to your newly created record. Good for one record For multiple entries it would be to have your own "created From field on these newly created records. Then have your own custom Sublist on the Item record which will display your records (filtered by Item)
