First meaningful paint is over 5s

not that I know of, even using Cloudflare DNS and CDN doesn't help. I have noticed that it has to do with SiteBuilder not caching the page itself so it has to create it everytime. I have tried testing against static files on the site and the response time on those is much lower, so doesn't seem like a network issue.

I’ve had some luck with stripping as much out of the homepage as possible. I hid the slideshow carousel and am using a dynamic image for the main banner instead and that shaved off a good bit of time. See https://comfortgroom.com to get an idea.
