Whenever one of our staff members makes a change to a saved search that I own, it always creates a duplicate of that saved search instead of SAVING the original saved search. I have enabled "allow editing" on the saved search, but this still happens. Is there any way to just let Netsuite save the original saved search?

If allow editing is enabled, then you should train your staff members to use Save instead of Save As.

If the search is not public you need to mark allow audience to edit and select roles too.
