Hello all. Is there a way for me to create a report out of all the transactions (both non-posting/posting)?

And I am assuming there is no way to convert saved report into a report.

What is it you need that needs to be a report?

I.e. what is it a report does that a saved search doesnt?

It's pretty much for a convenience sake from most of the users. I personally would go with saved search but it is what they want, so I am simply looking into it.

I guess I'm not remotely tracking how a report is better than a search? Is it expand collapse? Is it the filters?

You could give them an advanced HTML/PDF version of it for printing, and you can performing grouping within it.

and most of my users are type of people who complain if they have to go from clicking twice to three times.

Right, advanced PDF would take some time to make so that's why I was looking for a lazy way out. But it looks like I don't have a choice.

I'd recommend a dataset/workbook approach. A pivot is an intuitive experience for most users

then snipping tool for printing assuming they're putting the figures into a slide deck
