We are likely looking at transitioning off of Netsuite for 2023. To continue to have access to the data (at least for a year for accessing information for 2022 taxes), we were told we need to maintain the license and 1 user - which is obviously an absurd fee for that sole purpose. Curios if anyone has transitioned off of Netsuite somewhere and has some suggestions. Is it simply about pulling all the reports you possibly can, downloading all job data, vendor data, etc? Any suggestions on how to best approach so we can access that data easily once we're off?

Best bet is to utilizing a connector to move the data to a Data Warehouse for access. This will allow report building from the data and general data integrity and availability.

I would suggest against utilizing the connector to import the data ot your new system otherwise you're going to be chasing down rounding errors forever.

Thanks @Rich Keller! I'm not familiar at all with those types of services. Is there a particular service/company name you've used to do that to help me getting started in the right direction?

@Josh_SatoriReporting is this something you all could help with?

Yes - but most people will just create saved searches with key data and download to CSV for audit/tax purposes. That's the least expensive and often the best path.
