This site was built to compliment the existing NetSuite Professionals Slack Community by adding a means for members to easily find answers to common questions and to create a searchable database of those questions and answers.

NetSuite Professionals

Customer, Employee, Department and a host of lists are what I would call “internal lists” by Netsuite. I did find the id equivalents like -2 for Customers, -10 for Items, and -102 for Departments by inspecting the DOM. Before that I was trying to see if there was a resource somewhere that outlined those.

Also the list in the help pages is incomplete.  If you have the `Netsuite Advanced Field Help` chrome plugin, you can see the list of NS internal ids by: begin creating a new custom field in the UI, change the type to List/Record, then click on the help for the List/Record dropdown list where you pick the source.
