We are looking to remove the need for inventory details on an item fulfillment record. From my knowledge, you have to disable the Advanced Bin management feature to do that. In order to turn off that feature though, we need to delete a bunch of transactions involving those items. Are there any workarounds to not needing the inventory detail? Would unchecking the "Use Bins" on all individual items work for this?

Inventory Detail is driven by the transactional need for the item being fulfilled/received, etc. You would need to ensure the item doesn't require any of the following: • Inventory Status (this is system-wide) • Bin (Item level, use bins &/or location doesn't require bins) • Lot/Serial Number (item type) As long as none of these are needed, you shouldn't be required to enter Inventory Details.

I would run some test cases or open a case for information on the impact first.
