Parent child relationship can work for searches if you are willing to allow multiple children per parent

not sure what you mean. There is no inherent parent/child relationship among instances of the custom record. I just have a custom record with a LIST/RECORD link back to a standard record (Job). So there is no link from Job -&gt; custom record, only the other direction (customrecord -&gt; job). Can I apply some sort of 'child/parent' setting to make this link show up when creating a 'Job' search?

The custom record custom field has a `Record is Parent` checkbox

It makes related custom records appear as a sublist on the parent

And makes them searchable from the parent

thanks <@U5TF1GQ20> looks like that does the trick, and in my case the native record to custom record is a one-to-many
