Quick question: When looking at a script deployment from a 3rd party (Bill.com) the "Execute as role" field is grayed out (I can't change it off of administrator) - Anyone know what can cause that?
a
I guess its locked? I didn't think script deployments were... you should be able to create another deployment from the script record though, can you do that? and is the field still grayed out?
k
Yeah. It was still grayed out
a
is it a bundle or a suiteapp?
k
The script itself is locked from a suitebundle
a
huh, so I guess they can just lock/disable that as part of the bundle... it kinda makes sense tho cos if you put a different role in there and it doesn't have all the permissions it needs the bundle would be broken.
k
Yeah... But their stupid bundle allows posting to a locked period, and the fix would be simple if we could just run it as something other than administrator.
a
hmm yeah I think someone else was saying something similar in here like last week? idk if it was bill.com but the same issue, wrt to closed periods
