Anyone ever make it so bill.com couldn't post to AP locked periods? I'm thinking it's not possible, but figured there's no harm in asking. Sometimes documentation from integrations misses some work arounds.
My biggest issue is that it seems I can't update the script deployments to not run as administrator

that's annoying - I thought bundled script deployments usually weren't/couldn't be locked?

I can see why they do it that way but it's poor at the same time. If they're running as an admin then your only option is to fully (hard) close the period rather than a soft-close (only closing the AP for example).
Second thought, is there a way to limit the fiscal period or date entered in bill so it doesn't attempt to post back in NetSuite? Not a bill user so not sure if they even have a concept of period but a date restriction would work for NetSuite's purposes.

We set a posting date and an invoice date in Bill.com. And then enabled the ability for period date mismatch in NetSuite

Then the AP team sets the invoice date and posting date sperately in bill

Is the Posting Date a custom field in BIll.com or something that's mapped by default? @AI1? Thanks!

I wasn’t here when they implemented but I believe it was something that needed to be enabled by a partner or bill.com themselves. I’ve heard it took some pushing to get it done but not sure if it’s a customization or just something in the background they don’t enable by default
It is an extra (maybe custom) field in Bill.com for posting date with a custom mapping to the posting period in NetSuite
