@mattb our bookkeeper is so old school that's the last part of NetSuite I'm looking to automate 😄 but I believe @Stefan Antony is an aussie so hopefully he will let us know when he figures it out
m
just read another release note talking about North America only but other regions can build stuff with an api. bugger.
m
It looks like open banking for the big four starts tomorrow! https://www.finder.com.au/open-banking
m
great. JCurve have been pushing https://www.jcurvesolutions.com/fast-four/ but it literally involves a CSV file. I have been jealous of Xero’s bank feeds for years
haha cool!
m
So that's just a more advanced/automated bank rec? Any idea how it compares to NetSuites revamped bank rec?
m
i also fear for our bank who let’s just say were very late to the apple pay game, so i imagine they will try and drag this out too
never tried it in the end as the banking people in the office just wouldn’t deal with csv, files etc etc
m
Ha, our bookkeeper wants to do everything on paper
Other banks besides for the big 4 have until July 2021
m
ah ok. we’re with one the big 4 thankfully
on another topic, are you doing payroll within netsuite? suitepeople or something else?
m
No, I don't think suitepeople supports Australian payroll
We looked at Infinet Cloud but it was too expensive
m
oh that’s what we’re using
m
We use Xero at the moment for our primary entity and Keypay for two sister companies - planning to transition the primary company to Keypay as well soon. It's just a simple weekly journal so we don't have any integration or anything
I understood Infinet Cloud is bundled into Jcurve subscrition, right?
m
yeah indeed it is, well, it’s actually split out on the agreement as a separate cost but i guess that’s how they market as the “all in one do it all” system
