In my early IT days I took on a job of restructuring/reworking a private school's network in the hopes of proving myself and getting my first true IT admin job. It was a mess. They had a DC/Server which was in BAD shape with failing drives that were 99% full of data. NO documentation ANYWHERE as to how it was set up at all... So in the process I asked the people who were supposed to know "Who has the 'Administrator' credentials?" No one seemed to know. They both had their own login with admin privileges. So, I "took over" the administrator account. A few days later the principal came to me saying he'd not been able to login to the system. Apparently some dufus had decided that since he was the School Administrator, he should get the network administrator account... 🤦
