Hi All, I had a question for Item creation. Can we create item with same Item code twice in Netsuite but they will belong to different subsidiaries.

I don't think this can be done

Now you could have two different items with the same display name on invoices

Thanks @KevinJ of Kansas but we want to use the itemid as same which I think is not possible. @Kman The reason why we are doing this is we have two child subsidiaries which don't have any connection between them. They transact with each other as non intercompany. So both their Accountants want to keep their Item database different and want to add different costing methods/ Different COA and other stuff.
