Anyone: We have decided NOT to require the security code be entered when processing credit cards. I have unchecked the 'use card security code ...' box in the payment processing section of Accounting Preferences. The problem we are now experiencing is Netsuite says the credit card was not authorized however CyberSource says the authorization was successful. What else do I need to do to have Netsuite report a good authorization?

surely that would invalidate your fraud protection on the transaction?

I agree but it was not my decision. As I understand it, sales felt that too much time was taken in verifying credit cards and convinced upper-management that more work could be accomplished if that time was spent entering new orders. What can I say ...

😂🤣😂 wow....
Anyways, sorry for that. (still crazy in most instances).
You can fix this by going to the Processing Profile for your Merchant in Netsuite
and modifying the Credit Card Verification (CSC) rules
"No CSC Match" = Action: Accept, etc etc

Hey Michael, CVV code is only needed on the initial trans. Subsequent trans don’t need CVV as you have the token and have already confirmed it not fraud on 1st trans. Your folks shouldn’t have to call to confirm after that initial one. I think it’s just misinformation.
