Does anyone have any experience with matrix assembly items? I’m trying to create an assembly item that has certain components based off of a matrix selection.

For instance, say I’m selling a box of crayons. I need the customer to be able to select what colors they want in the box and each individual crayon is an inventory item. I’ve created a test assembly matrix option, but I don’t think I did it right because it’s saying the item is misconfigured on the front end.

Here’s what I’ve done so far: I’ve created the matrix items with all the possible “crayons” options and under components, I put all the possible “crayon” inventory items as components of the parent item. Then, I edited each individual child item’s components to match what should be included.

Logically, this should work, but we all know how good NetSuite is with logic…
