@markderrick basically, I want to use it as a domino or trickle-down effect. Where I update one search to return an additional internal ID, and since the "parent search" is using the results of that search as a criteria... The more I think about it, it's gonna have to be done in scripting and not in the standard UI of NS.

I suppose you could do this with suitelettes but I wouldn't. I'd just add a checkbox field and mark it with a scheduled workflow based on my first search so that I could use it as a criteria on my second
