I cannot set Preferred Stock Level on an Assembly Item, but can on an Inventory Item. Advanced Inventory Management is OFF, but Preferred Stock still shows for Inventory Items. I don’t really want to turn it on, as it may have knock on effects elsewhere. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you display type = normal, then it's probably a workflow controlling this. Show on same row as Previous just controls the position on the form, not accessibility.

While that box was checked, everything else on the line including display type was greyed out and not editable. Doesn’t make any sense but that’s what happened!
