Can someone please explain - what a full implementation cycle look like ? What stage BRD come in , FID GAP Analysis , UAT, Post Go live support etc

ask for a sales pitch from a bunch of Netsuite partners. They'll send you a million similar slick slide decks describing this and why their company/process is so unique 😆 but very generally Discovery (~1-2 weeks) -> BRD/Gap Analysis (~2-6 weeks) -> Implementation (~2-6 months) -> Go live -> Go live support (~1-2 weeks) -> Ongoing support (forever? 😂). Your experience will vary widely depending on factors too numerous to list, but chief among them the size/complexity of your org and resources available from your side and from your implementation partner.

@James Morris we went through the SuiteSuccess Implementation. It looks like there's really no difference at least for the phases based on what you said.

Yep, I sub-contracted for NS for a while and later worked for a NS partner doing their own implementations. NS gives all their partners their materials and processes, so most just use it as-is or with very minor tweaks. I'd be really interested to see if there are any partners doing a true agile NS implementation method, as opposed to the full waterfall method that NS hands out.
but then again, usually your implementing audience is primarily accountants, and I've met like 3 accountants in my life who legitimately knew what agile methodology was, so who knows if that would really work.

Got it. Thank you for sharing you experience.
